5. "You're a whore." - Don Draper
Hypocrite, party of one, your table is ready. Season 3 outlined the decline of the inimitable Mr. and Mrs. Don Draper. Having forged through a separation in season 2, only to force themselves back together when Betty discovers that she's pregnant, they're pretty much miserable for the entire season. Don had his flings and torrid affairs - and Betty, in an act I can only applaud our of empathy, drifted away from her dear, unfaithful husband into an emotionally significant affair with Henry Francis. Oh, and Betty finds out who Dick Whitman is at the end of the season, too, which is essentially the nail in the coffin for their marriage. In the season finale, Don finds out who Henry is and confronts Betty in a heated confrontation. He throws at her that he's given her everything - nice house, nice clothes, materialistic things - and he claims that she's nothing more than a spoiled brat who's playing the victim. Then he has the nerve to call her a whore, which is the most ironic, hypocritical and psychologically ass-backwards insult Don Draper can hurl at anyone. He grabs her by the shirt collar, too, and pushes her in a violent way. Definitely worth of a slap - and groin kick.
