Marvel's Daredevil: 10 Iconic Comic Book Moments We Still Need To See

7. The Devil Inside And Out

Daredevil Spider Man
Marvel Comics

One of the shorter-lived arcs in Daredevil comics, The Devil Inside and Out explored perhaps one of the most interesting scenarios any big time superhero could find themselves in: being locked behind bars with some of their greatest villains.

Leading on from Brian Michael Bendis’ run on Daredevil, The Devil Inside and Out found Matt imprisoned on Ryker's island with Bullseye and Kingpin while his friends try desperately to break him out. With Matt having to fend off the rumours spreading that he and Daredevil are one and the same, this story made for many a tense moment as Matt reflected on his crime fighting career and the relationships he shares with two of his greatest foes.

A story ripe for a slow-burning, character-driven arc in a future season, this is one comic that would not just inspire a compelling Daredevil story, but provide a unique setup the likes of which have never been seen or explored in any superhero story told on-screen yet.
