9. Vanessa Assumes Control Of Fisk's Empire

Vanessa Fisk well and truly showed her true colours in Daredevil Season 3, illustrating that the past three years spent on the run have changed her greatly. Her and Fisk are a match made in Heaven (or Hell - take your pick), and with ol' Willie having taken the fall to ensure her freedom, we can expect her to take the reigns on his criminal empire for the foreseeable future.

While Vanessa herself would grow to resent the criminal underworld her husband dealt with in the comics, the version seen in the Netflix series is drawn to it. She loves Wilson because he is the Kingpin - not in spite of that - which sets a new precedent for the character who'd only conspired against Murdock and her husband in the comics, and who saw the Kingpin as a monster far removed from the man she'd married.

Either way, the selection of crime families seen towards the end of Season 3 are likely to play a big part in the follow-up, with one in particular - Rosalie Carbone - having already featured in the second season of Luke Cage.

Factor in the Punisher returning next year too, and it may be possible that the Man Without Fear, Frank Castle and Vanessa have been placed on a collision course. Given how well received the first half of Daredevil Season 2 was as well, this meeting seems a no-brainer.
