7. Cathy

Ted thought he had found the one when he met Cathy, but there was a problem and that was none of his friends liked her. He can't work out why and his friends don't want to tell him and ruin his relationship. However, they do eventually reveal that she talks... a lot! As the glass shatters in his head it takes him back and he realises how bad it is and they break up. What follows is one of the funniest episodes in my opinion as they all reveal what is annoying about each of them, creating more shattering glass moments.

Ted meets Cathy years later and she has married a deaf guy. Ted, makes the mistake of telling him that Cathy talks too much by sign language and his face after he realises is priceless. This episode shows that Ted is looking for that perfect girl and is not going to settle for anything less.
