8. Becky

Becky is such a lovely girl but has a few problems acting like an adult. After being given the job of co-anchor alongside Robin, her bubbly attitude works on all around her, including her co-workers and Ted. As she is a tad childish, Ted feels very manly and mature until he realises that she has the mannerisms of a five-year-old. This relalisation is complete when Ted ties Becky's shoe in the park and sees an old man doing the same thing for his young daughter. He breaks up with her on the spot.

Becky was a strange choice and while she wasn't an awful girlfriend to Ted, she was an awful choice for him. Ted considers himself very sophisticated and Becky is certainly the complete opposite to that.
