Zoey was so right yet so wrong for Ted all at the same time. She enjoyed the same things as Ted, but also tried to destroy his career and his crowning moment as an architerture. Despite her marriage to 'The Captain', she falls for Ted and after they seperate, Ted and Zoey begin dating. The fighting between the two over the GNB building is eventually too much for their relationship to withstand and when given the ultimatem of the building or Zoe, he chooses his building.

Zoey was an awful person to Ted but there was moments of real chemistry between the two. For once Ted surprisingly chose something over love and like Cathy showed that he would not settle for anything short of perfect.
