Ozark Season 3: 6 Ups & 2 Downs
1. Ups: That Ending And What It Sets Up For Season 4
Ozark starts off this season strong and makes sure to finish with a bang and this ending will be one that is talked about for a while. The writers do an amazing job of building tension throughout the season and rise to a climax that will keep you glued to the screen.
Navarro deciding to kill Helen is a huge shakeup to the power structure of Ozark and now cements the Byrdes firmly as potential right hands to Navarro. Will the power with this new role potentially draw Wendy further into the underworld or does this traumatize her enough to realize Marty was right to want out? If so, how do they do it now that they have even more attention from the cartel?
Now that Helen's daughter Erin knows about her mother's true job how does she react with her disappearance? Was Jonah shooting at someone in his final scene and how will he cope with Ben's death?
Ozark has been raising the stakes each season while still taking us deeper into the lives of characters we have grown to love (and hate). This season continues that trend while balancing the character development of characters new and old. Let the countdown begin!
