Ozark Season 4: 12 Questions That Must Be Answered
8. What Does Darlene Snell Have Planned For The Langmores?
Darlene was a wild card all the way throughout the third season; with her allegiances and schemes unfolding to ask even more questions, we have to assume that her fascination with the Langmore family isn't out of care or consideration.
Her surprise romance with Wyatt Langmore is however the most bizarre. We shouldn't believe for a second that she's as emotionally committed to the relationship as Wyatt; and once she's got what she needs he might be offered a glass of her famous lemonade.
Bringing Three and Ruth into the heroine business will add complications; and with Ruth turning her back on the Byrdes, we can assume Darlene is going to find a way to exploit it even more in the fourth season. She already curried favor with Ruth by taking a shotgun to Frank Jr's nether-regions when the Byrdes wouldn't; so what else is she prepared to do to win over the family?
While Darlene could be strengthening an army in a bid to strike against the Byrde family; the regrowth of her heroine poppy farm with Frank Cosgrove handling distribution, could mean she's making a deliberate attempt to start a war with the Cartels.
