Parks And Recreation: Top 10 Guest Stars

6. Louis C.K.

Like Megan Mullally, Louis C.K. had a number of guest appearances in Parks and Recreation as a love interest to one of the main ensemble. Louis plays Dave Sanderson, a Pawnee police officer who meets Leslie whilst arresting Tom for suspiciously loitering in a parked van. Despite her angrily scolding him for the arrest, Dave was immediately drawn to Leslie and asked her out in the next episode. Now, Leslie doesn't have the best dating history, and surely not just because she wears cargo pants and "sexy hats" on dates. From someone showing up to a with another woman, to having a guy try and remove her teeth mid-date, Leslie has had some wrong 'uns so it's only fair that she'd be nervous. So we get to experience the first of many hilarious Drunk Leslie moments. Oh Drunk Leslie. We have all been her at one time or another. Leslie does what we've all done, nearly done, or have drunkenly thought about doing but thankfully had a friend on hand with a stern and sensible manner. She goes to visit Dave in the middle of the night blackout drunk the day before their first date. She proceeds to wow him - liberal use of the word "wow" - with an English accent (she's going to put her knickers in a Beatles' record) and ability to use the word "bathroom" in the appropriate context. Dave seems annoyed, as you would be if a hyperactive drunk appeared at your door in the dead of night, but the next day tells Leslie that he was looking forward to their date that night - their now second date. This is the start of a beautiful, if muted, relationship. Leslie's sense of fun and adventure bounced off Dave's gruff and quiet exterior, and it was clear they brought out the good parts of each other. However, when Dave's US Army Reserve is called to active duty in San Diego, Leslie refuses to move with him due to her love of Pawnee. We think we've seen the back of Dave but, nearly two seasons later in "Dave Returns", Dave returns (duh). Louis C.K. is remarkably touching, even as he handcuffs Ben in a bathroom, as he reveals that he still has feelings for Leslie (you would though, wouldn't you). Leslie has a firm talk with him explaining that she loves Ben, and sadly, for now, that is the last we see of Louis C.K.

Fan of Taylor Swift and the Dead Kennedys (a duet I can only dream of). I like dystopias, slasher films, and video games that make me feel things.
