Riverdale: 10 Craziest Moments (So Far)

As an ongoing storyline, we're not exactly sure how this one is going to play out, but Cheryl's obsession with Jason's dead body is already a high-ranking crazy Riverdale moment. Cheryl is no longer under the influence of The Farm who drugged her into believing Jason was back from the dead - so why is she still infatuated with the idea?

Cheryl's girlfriend, Toni (Vanessa Morgan), is the only voice of reason here. Despite multiple prompts from Toni, Cheryl still refuses to bury the body and so it continues to sit in Thistle House. It's a wonder Toni can even bring herself to stay in the house with both the body and that creepy doll lying around.

Jason looks as a four-year-old dead body should look - rotten and decayed - making the fact that Cheryl keeps talking to her brother even more disturbing. Cheryl is a great, fun character but this bizarre storyline is consuming her screen-time and it would be nice to see her regain a little bit of sanity and mix with some of the other characters again.

This is Riverdale so it can't be a coincidence that Jason's body is being kept around the same time we're being introduced to this new creepy, possessed doll, and the story of Cheryl's twin Julien who she supposedly ate in the womb. All of this is utterly bonkers but knowing Riverdale, it will all be connected. We'll have to stay tuned.
