Schitt's Creek: 10 Funniest Episodes
8. Season 5 Episode 10 - Roadkill
Because Roadkill centres around the Roses reassuring a woman after they accidentally kill her cat, you wouldn't think this episode would be funny. But as the old saying goes - the best comedy stems from tragedy. As the bereaved woman, Baby, (or "Baybay" as Moira calls her) weeps for her feline friend, Johnny and Moira feebly attempt to console her. Since they are late for their spa appointment, the Roses are caught in a bind since they don't know how to leave Baby without coming across as cruel so they're forced to sit with her while she bawls her eyes out.
At the same time, David learns his old employer, Wendy, has copied his apothecary motif, and is selling his products as her own. Just to add insult to injury, Wendy hired a doppelgänger of David as her business partner, which is as ridiculous as it is hilarious.
The two storylines contrast each other beautifully since one focuses on sharp, snappy dialogue while the other is just REALLY awkward. Roadkill may not be the funniest episode but it's definitely the cringiest.
