1. It Ends On Another Unnecessary Cliffhanger

That's right: far from learning their lesson after Season 1, the second season also concludes on a wildly needless cliffhanger that serves only to stretch this story out for another potential 10-12 episodes.

Honestly, this season could easily have been neatly tied up, and again, the tease for more murder is incredibly tacked on and desperate. It's all the more dispiriting as, at the time of press, a third season has yet to be confirmed, and given that Season 2's finale posted less than half the viewers of Season 1's climax, it's not looking good.

At least there's a Halloween Special coming up, so hopefully if the writers got word of a cancellation before filming began, then it could bring things to at least a semi-satisfying close.
