Scrubs Cast: Where Are They Now?

1. Zach Braff

Scrubs Sarah Chalke
NBC

Way back in 2001 when Zach Braff was cast in the lead role for Scrubs, he was literally waiting tables in Hollywood. Almost overnight he was catapulted into stardom, and 20 years later, he is still an incredibly popular name in the industry.

Zach Braff's friendship with Donald Faison is famous, particularly among Scrubs fans, as being just as true and strong as that of JD and Turk on the screen. Their podcast together has been an absolute joy to many over the last 18 months or so, and there are many that hope they carry on once they run out of episodes of the show to rewatch.

Despite roles alongside the likes of Robert De Niro, and James Franco on the big screen, with a leading role opposite Gabrielle Union in Cheaper by the Dozen remake coming next year, Braff's talents have taken him behind the camera where he has enjoyed great success.

He wrote, directed, and starred in Wish I Was Here in 2014, and has most recently directed an episode of Solos featuring Anne Hathaway, and Bill Lawrence's Emmy Award winning Ted Lasso. In the near future he will be directing his girlfriend, the wonderfully talented Florence Pugh, and Morgan Freeman in A Good Person. All in all, his post Scrubs career has seen enough success for him to forget about the poorly received Alec Inc.
