She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Three Review - 4 Ups & 5 Downs
1. Up - Wong
Ever since his debut as a secondary character in Doctor Strange, a character that by all means was strong in his own right but certainly didn’t steal the show, there are few MCU characters that can boast such a meteoric rise as the now Sorcerer Supreme.
He was the librarian of Kamar-Taj, only promoted to the position once his predecessor was beheaded by Kaecilius, but now he outranks Stephen Strange on the mystic ladder and could well be the franchise’s new Nick Fury in the Multiverse Saga. Jen was right when she called the audience out on their impatience to finally see Wong arrive, and he didn’t disappoint.
An appearance that was almost built up since Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, we finally got more Wong and an answer to what he was doing in the fighting tournament with Blonsky in the first place. The Sorcerer Supreme exuded his usual charm while sling-ringing in and out of scenes, and was easily the highlight of this particular episode.
The only downside is that it would seem that his reason for being a part of the show is now done. No doubt he will have a major role to play in the franchise moving forward, but we will just have to wait patiently for it.
