She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Two Review - 7 Ups And 4 Downs
4. Up - Is World War Hulk Coming?
With Bruce Banner now living his life as Smart Hulk, many believed that his days of blind rage and rampaging were over. This of course put to bed the dreams of any World War Hulk storylines in the MCU. The arc was already kind of adapted in Thor: Ragnarok, and that was about it.
However, the Sakaarian space ship that caused Jen’s Hulk-out in the first place suggested Hulk’s son may be coming to the franchise, but with Banner heading into space on the same Sakaarian ship there could absolutely be room for such an adaptation.
Of course, creative license will have to be taken. He won’t return to Earth because the Illuminati sent him into space to die, but there could be any number of reasons he could wage war on the world. Fans have been begging for both a World War Hulk story, and a Ruffalo-led Hulk movie, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law could just be the beginning.
Think back to how the Avengers were fractured by Civil War, just in time for Infinity War. Could their fight against their friend and teammate play a similar role before The Kang Dynasty? Potentially more than a bit of a reach, but hands up who would love to see it. (Anyone without their hand up is a liar).
