Partnering with the Mayans and the League of American Nationalists, he set about manipulating just about every major player in Charming.

He fueled Darby's meth lab, forcing the Sons' hand knowing that they would destroy it, and gave Hale the evidence needed to have them put away. He then flooded the streets of Charming with Darby's drugs and prostitutes, again giving Hale the ammo to stop it, proving that the town didn't need the Sons of Anarchy.

Thanks to Zobelle, Clay, Jax, Bobby, Juice, Tig, and Happy were forced to spend 14 months in prison, somewhat using the club's motto of brains before bullets against them.

That's not to say that he didn't have a ruthless side, however.
