South Park: Top 10 Eric Cartman Moments
3. Scott Tenorman Must Die - Tears
Even the most casual fan would cite Scott Tenorman Must Die as the perfect example of Cartmans deviousness. Cartman and Scott Tenormans rivalry begins over a dispute about pubic hair, Cartman innocently buying Scotts believing this means he has matured.
As Cartmans trickery becomes more elaborate Scott simply out maneuvers him, sometimes with the help of Kyle and Stan. Yet, when all seems lost for Cartman it is revealed that the plan that the viewer and other boys were aware of is actually a ruse. Cartman planned ahead for the boys betrayal and Scotts side steps. In fact, one step ahead puts it lightly, Cartmans plan is actually more twisted than anything he had done on the show up until that point. When the episode first aired it became apparent that Cartman was pure evil. Cartman plan involved having Scotts parents killed, fed to him as a chilli con carne, and then for Radiohead, his favourite band, to catch him crying. The brilliant moment comes as Cartman reaches up to Scotts eyes and licks them saying, Yeees, yeees. Let me taste your tears, Scott. Mmm, your tears are so yummy and sweet. He really does savour the tasteless triumph of his evil scheme.
