Speaking of the Cerritos' interiors... like everything else in the series, the animated environments in which most of Star Trek: Lower Decks takes place have been carefully designed to fit the 24th century Starfleet aesthetic established by TNG, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager. The Cerritos' bridge carries over many elements of ships like the Enterprise-D and Voyager; even the computer terminals and interfaces aboard the Cerritos reflect well known Star Trek design.

Lovingly dubbed "Okudagrams", the LCARS (Library Computer Access and Retrieval System) graphics created by Michael and Denise Okuda back in 1987 for Star Trek: The Next Generation have been carefully recreated for Star Trek: Lower Decks. Computer terminals in every section of the Cerritos bear the distinct LCARS style, however the graphics now extend beyond the helm and tactical stations, etc.

The Cerritos' bridge, corridors, even the lower deckers' bunks all bear the Okudas' distinct, LCARS-style motif now in the form of pin striping and highlights in ships' bulkheads, ceilings, and carpeting.
