Star Trek: Every Enterprise Ranked Worst To Best

12. Kelvin Universe 1701

Star Trek 2009 Enterprise
Paramount Pictures

This redesign of Matt Jefferies' classic took audiences somewhat by surprise. It was both a modern-update on the ship, while staying faithful to the overall shape of Sci-Fi's most famous ship (fight me).

Ryan Church was tasked with updating the vessel and delivered an excellent version of the vessel, bringing the 23rd century starship into the 21st century. While in both Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness, the nacelles were slightly clunky and swollen, the gentle redesign in Star Trek Beyond nailed the final look of the ship.

Krall has a lot to answer for.

If there is one major gripe about this vessel however, it is the fact that it is rivaling the Galaxy class Enterprise-D in size. Calm down, Kelvin-prise. We like you regardless!
