Star Trek: Every Enterprise Ranked Worst To Best

11. 1701-J

Star Trek Enterprise J
CBS Media Ventures

The Enterprise-J features briefly in Azati Prime, the third season episode of Enterprise. It is a 26th Century incarnation of the ship, designed by Doug Drexler (later fully realised in the Ships of the Line calendar).

Designated a Universe class, it is far larger than all of the other ships on this list, with a beautiful sleek design. According to showrunner Manny Coto, there was very little discussion as to which Enterprise this would be, due to time constraints on writing the show.

Enterprise's B, C, D, E and F were all commissioned in the 24th Century, with Enterprises G - I faring slightly better (and being a little more hard-wearing!). J looks like the kind of ship that is designed for moving entire colonies through the vastness of space, like an updated (and enlarged) version of the Galaxy class.
