Star Trek: Every Enterprise Ranked Worst To Best

9. 1701-A

Star Trek 6
Paramount

The refit Constitution class ship is one of the best designs that the franchise has ever offered to audiences. The Enterprise-A, first introduced in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, is a redress of the filming model from the Motion Picture. On the outside, it almost exactly the same as the original. However, on the inside, it suffered from a little lack of continuity.

The bridge in Star Trek IV is a simple redress of the previous bridge, while in both the Final Frontier and The Undiscovered Country, it is designed to at least look far sleeker and darker. The functionality issues that it faces in the Final Frontier push it a little lower down this list, though it has the honour of being one of the FEW Enterprises allowed to quietly retire!
