The second coming of the Chameloid might not be a supermodel, but he is multitalented, hilarious, and a lifelong Star Trek fan who grew up "wanting to be Geordi La Forge".

'Quasi' — kwa-zee — is the almost perfect name of Richardson's morphable incarnation, "right hand" and "definitely the brightest" to Omari Hardwick's Alak Sahar, the latter told Josh Horowitz. In the teaser trailer, ol' golden eyes kept things real with Georgiou and steered a "bumpy and bad" bucket of a ship on an escape through nebula swirls. He's a "physicist" to boot, as Richardson revealed on Armchair Expert… The OG Sulu in 'astrosciences' would be proud!

Far from the robot we mistook him for, Quasi has a "nervous" sensibility, Richardson noted to CinemaBlend's Mick Joest. For the actor, therein lies the opportunity for some realistic comedy. Unlike Martia, we know Quasi can't kiss Captain Kirk for the laughs. We do look forward to seeing how this particular Chameloid deals with every danger the Section 31 version of the galaxy has to throw at him!
