The clone trooper, better known simply as "Fives," was a mainstay of the show, appearing in every season. However, this tradition would end with Season 7, Fives died in the first arc of Season 6, after uncovering Order 66 early.

However, this episode shows that, even in death, Fives still helps the Republic in their time of need. After Rex turns, Ashoka pulls up Fives' file and from there puts the pieces together. Using his report, Ashoka finds a recording or Rex, which tells her that about the clones' inhibitor chips. This information lets Ashoka know exactly what to look for and remove in Rex's brain.

After his death, Fives saves his captain's life. He would be proud to know how much his legacy helped.
