Stargate: Every System Lord Ranked Worst To Best

12. Hathor

Hathor was a Goa'uld System Lord who was, at one time, the mate of Ra. She was also, according to various legends, the child of Ra. This is one example of the conflicting information available on this particular Goa'uld. She was forced, after becoming Ra's Queen, to give up much of her own base of power - leading her to begin to despise him. She had another identity - Sehkmet - who was her openly evil side, which she attempted to keep Hathor as the 'pleasurable' side.

She defied Ra and attempted to build a power base on Earth, but was trapped inside a sarcophagus for thousands of years, before being accidentally released in 1997. From there, she traveled to the Gate and attempted to take control of the SGC, before being defeated by the female contingent on the base. She escaped through the Stargate.

While she rebuilt much of her former strength, she began to assemble forces stolen from other System Lords, eventually gaining the title of System Lord for herself (something that had long eluded her). She built a replica of the SGC, albeit a futuristic one, and captured O'Neill, Daniel Jackson and Carter, attempting to gain knowledge from them, that she could then use to grow in power. This backfired, she was overpowered and finally killed after being dropped into a cryo-tank by Jack O'Neill.
