Dean is shot and killed while investigating the disappearance of a man with Sam, who is stunned when he wakes up the next morning to find his brother alive and well. Then he realizes he is reliving the previous day and tries to prevent Dean's death. Arguably the most hilarious episode of Supernatural ever. I didn't think it was possible to show Dean die a hundred different ways and each be as hilarious as the next. We don't see a hundred ways but that's how many times he dies on and off screen. Some of his deaths include poisonous fish tacos, mauled by a puppy, hit by a car, death by sausage, electrocution, and accidental axe impalement. One of the show's biggest strengths is how it's able to switch from one mood to another. The episode is comedy for around 40 minutes, and then it transitions to somber and seriousness. Sam finds out why Dean is continuously dying because of the Trickster. When the Trickster takes them out of the time loop, Dean is killed by a mugger and Sam transforms into a emotionless and cold killer on a mission to kill the Trickster. The Trickster reverses everything but teaches Sam that he can't save Dean from going to Hell.
