There were a number of big cliffhangers at the end of The Boys season one, with A-Train's fate obviously among them. He suffered a heart attack due to his abuse of Compound V, and both Hughie and Starlight were forced to try and save him...despite the speedster attempting to murder them!

Now, it's been confirmed that he's alive and well, but as star Jessie T. Usher explained during the show's Comic-Con@Home panel, his addiction has taken quite the roll on his body.

"Physically, A-Train is in bad shape. He’s abused Compound V and it’s taken some very long-term effects on his body and him being an athlete, that’s very much on the forefront of the issues that he has to deal with. But A-Train has so many things that he’s been literally running from for so long, now he’s in the place where he has to just stop, turn and face these things, and it’s tearing him apart."

The actor also teased that A-Train will be moving on from targeting Hughie, as he'll have a new foe of sorts in season two. Could it be that he'll attempt to blackmail Starlight for betraying the team?
