The Boys Season 3: 10 Burning Questions We Already Have

8. What Is Black Noir's Condition?

Black Noir has easily been one of the most mysterious characters throughout the first two seasons of The Boys, he's never uttered a single word and has never even revealed his face. Though he initially seemed impervious to just about anything thrown at him, Queen Maeve was ultimately able to exploit his nut allergy and defeat him.

At first, as with Stormfront, it was unclear if the supe would survive being force fed the Almond Joy bar, however it was later confirmed that he survived, and though unresponsive, the doctors didn't believe he had sustained any brain damage.

So what will Black Noir's role in the upcoming season be? Since the finale aired, Black Noir actor Nathan Mitchell has confirmed that the character came pretty much as close to death as possible, and suffered in a great way, but even he doesn't know if he will turn up again.

Noir could still be suffering throughout season three, and may not even be able to get out of bed. On the other hand, the Compound V coursing through his veins may allow him to recover much quicker than any normal human could. There is still so much story and character to explore with Black Noir, so here's hoping he will return, but as of right now, we just don't know what that will look like.
