The Boys Season 3: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

Despite its title, The Boys is not shy on strong female characters, the best of whom this season has to be Starlight, the newest member of The Seven whose mission to undermine Homelander and finally become the hero she's always wanted to be has driven much of the season's drama.

Between her fracturing relationship with Hughie -- one of the few romances on the show with a chance of making it to series' end -- and her eventual decision to tell the world how evil and corrupt Homelander and Vought is, Starlight's journey from America's sweetheart to outspoken rebel has been both thrilling and heartrending.

Of everything that happens this season, the most satisfying development was surely seeing Starlight stand up to Homelander and destroy her reputation (for now) as America's sweetheart in hopes of bringing him down. Going forward, she'll be a key part of his eventual downfall.

Now that she's an official member of The Boys, season four seems poised to be her most compelling and challenging chapter yet.
