The Boys Season 3: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best
12. Stan Edgar
Here's a great rule for all TV writers out there: Cast Giancarlo Esposito as an enigmatic villain with the ability to intimate and influence everyone he comes into contact with, and you've got yourself a winner. Much like in Breaking Bad, the actor emerges from The Boys as a true scene-stealer.
Stan Edgar is given more to do this season, after two seasons of lurking in the shadows, influencing The Seven and their image, with most of his actions focussed on keeping Homelander in line and saving Vought Industries from all its most recent scandals.
Emerging as a forceful foil to Homelander's bid for more power, Edgar's only real flaw this season is the fact he's barely around, losing his place as Vought CEO before vanishing into the background, never to be seen or mentioned again. This is a real shame, especially considering his relationships with Homelander and Victoria.
There's a lot of potential for Edgar and his secrets going forward, so hopefully the writers haven't completely forgotten about him.
