The Flash: 10 Questions We Need Answered Before The End Of The Season
3. Will Everyone Make It Out Alive?
Beyond stopping the Reverse-Flash, Eddie’s death in the finale last year was very important in establishing the stakes of the show. Characters might not be dropping every week like in Game Of Thrones, but they can still die and nobody except Barry is completely safe.
This doesn’t inherently mean that a series regular is bound to die in the remainder of the year, but it certainly calls into question the certainty that everyone will make it to Season 3. The show could theoretically go on with the loss of just about anyone, even if some of those deaths would be harder to accept than others. No one wants to see someone like Cisco go, but it’s hard to argue that it wouldn’t make Zoom seem even more evil and hated as a result.
The obvious candidate to bite the dust may actually be Harrison Wells. He already doesn’t belong in the timeline and considering his intense drive to stop Zoom, he seems like he would be willing to sacrifice himself in order to stop him.
