The Flash Season 2: 10 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit

10. Got A Problem? Send It To Earth-2!

Out of the nine episodes that have aired so far, at least three of the episodes have ended with "Let Earth-2 deal with it." Gorilla Grodd was a dangerously intelligent primate that could control minds and had a grudge against the humans of the world. Instead of the Flash facing the telekinetic gorilla head on, he literally pushed him into another dimension where the inhabitants of that world will now have to deal with him and his world conquering ways. Not only that, they gave him access to an army of intelligent gorillas to help him conquer. When the Trickster and Weather Wizard teamed up to put an end to the Flash by placing bombs all over the city, we all expected to see The Flash use his incomprehensible speed to race across the entire city and save everyone. Instead his team of scientific geniuses used a portal to Earth-2 to suck up all the bombs and just let whoever might have been on the other end deal with them. Not our dimension, not our problem. And finally on to the third instance. At the end of The Fury of Firestorm, the team had found a new person to form the Firestorm matrix, and all was well with Doctor Stein. As the Flash looked on in joy at what he accomplished, he was suddenly grabbed by King Shark, an Earth-2 inhabitant sent by Zoom to kill him. The Flash had no way out and was about to be killed when hey, Earth-2 Doctor Wells appeared and saved him. Too many problems are being solved by Earth-2 and blind luck. You can't really call Flash a hero when he's just pushing his problems on other people.
