Really?!

After so many recently poked fun at Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in how one of its key plot points hinged on the mothers of the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel, it was mightily disappointing to see that it was the ever-reliable parent card that served to bring down the relentless, merciless, remorseless, emotionless, maniacal (getting the idea yet?...) Zoom.

With Zoom over in Earth-1 and lulled in to Team Flash’s plan, the rogue was stopped dead in his tracks by some cardboard cut-outs of his parents.

Now, not only was the idea of seeing his parents causing Zoom to stop a bit of a headscratcher, the biggest illogical aspect of this whole thing was just how the present-day Team Flash of Earth-1 managed to get hold of cardboard cut-outs or even pictures of the Earth-2 parents of Hunter Zolomon.

Whichever way you look at it, this particular element of Versus Zoom was at best puzzling, at worst flat-out ridiculous.
