The Flash Season 3: 7 Theories On Savitar's True Identity

3. Julian Albert

The Flash Season 3 Savitar
The CW

In many ways, Julian Albert is the most obvious contender for Savitar. After all, he used to be Doctor Alchemy, Savitar's stooge who acted as a conduit for the God of Speed to enter this reality. He is also an expert on the Philosopher's Stone. Whose to say that Julian isn't really some immortal speedster deity?

This would also explain Caitlin's reaction upon seeing Savitar's face. Like we said, there are probably only a couple of Team Flash members that Caitlin would trust immediately, and one of them is her would-be beau Julian. Likewise, it would also explain why Savitar comes to Killer Frost in the first place, as Julian has a connection with her.

Admittedly, just as Julian is a likely candidate because he is an obvious choice, his obviousness also makes him less likely. The amount of time the show has spent teasing Savitar's identity, and promising us that we would be surprised by the reveal, would hardly feel worth it if it turned out to be simply a repeat of the Alchemy reveal in the first part of the season.

Still, The Flash has previously gone with the most obvious villain reveal in the past (e.g. Harrison Wells being Reverse-Flash in season one) so who knows?
