The Flash Season 6 Review: 6 Ups & 2 Downs From 'The Exorcism Of Nash Wells'

4. Alls Wells That Ends Wells

The Flash Harry Wells
The CW

One of the biggest bummers of Crisis On Infinite Earths was undoubtedly the fact that it wiped out the multiverse of beloved Harrison Wells, meaning that characters we had grown to love such as Harry and Sherloque (and yes, even Wells The Gray) has been killed off without even giving us a chance to say goodbye. And yet, when Nash began 'seeing' them, it became clear more was going on here.

Turns out that the reason he was possessed by Thawne was down to the fact that all the Wells somehow managed to merge their consciousness into the one place that could withstand their intellect - the mind of Harrison Wells. And as Nash was the last remaining possibility, that's where they all ended up... including Thawne.

Even with Thawne's expulsion, Nash still has all those other Wells running around in there - something we saw for ourselves whenever Harry showed up for another brief cameo - which gives the show a lot of story potential.

Hey, the loss of these beloved Wells was never going to be ideal, but at least this way, we know they aren't really gone.

Wells finds a way.
