The Mandalorian 2.7 Review - 6 Ups And 1 Down From Chapter 15

4. Din Djarin Learns A Different Way

Chapter 15 also delivers when it comes to Din's own personal story-arc. This entire season, he's been learning that there are different ways to be a Mandalorian, and that tradition alone isn't what makes him a part of that creed.

We see Din stretch the code given to him by the Children of the Watch, relinquishing his beskar armour and then even revealing his face to Migs and the Imperials inside the base. It illustrates how Din is finally realising what's important to him: his adoptive green son (and maybe even a good skincare regimen - being cooked up inside that helmet all day cannot be healthy).

No doubt it won't be long until we see Din mask-off most of the time, which is definitely a good thing, as it means we get to see more of Pedro Pascal's brilliant acting chops.

There's a moment late on when they infiltrate the base, where Migs really starts giving it to the Imperial Officer, and Din anxiously glances in his co-conspirator's direction, which is totally relatable and the kind of thing we need to see more of from the show going into Season 3.
