The Mandalorian Season 2: 10 Reasons To Be Excited
2. Ahsoka's Live Action Debut
As the protagonist of the first Star Wars TV series to find true success, it was only fitting that Ahsoka would appear in The Mandalorian.
This beloved character, who has been linked to the entire Skywalker saga, has grown to become one of the most iconic figures of the franchise. Following her development as a Jedi in the midst of the Clone Wars, her survival of Order 66 and her continued fight against the Empire in Rebels, Ahsoka Tano led us on an epic journey that crossed the galaxy.
The ending of Star Wars Rebels saw Ahsoka, alive and well, meeting with Sabine Wren in a bid to find the missing Ezra Bridger. The Mandalorian will explore her life around this time, with Rebels' finale also taking place after the Battle of Endor.
With the fall of the Empire and the prominence of Luke Skywalker, we could get a chance to see how she reacts to another Jedi on the galactic stage and the rumours of a resurgent Jedi Order.
Certainly, with her outcast status we may get a more nuanced insight into Jedi and the Force.
Rumoured to be played by Rosario Dawson, this live-action Ahsoka will no doubt be a memorable character and a key player in the fate of The Child.
