To celebrate the 550th episode, the Simpsons took a very different turn. Using computer animation to present the Simpsons and friends as Lego characters, this episode was a treat to watch. Visually entertaining, it also featured a decent plot with an emotional core, that made it one of the better episodes of last season. Still we can't help but feel that the episode was a little too gimmicky. With the show stagnating in ratings and quality, it seemed they would have to go a little further to promote their landmark episode and Lego style Simpsons made for a very eye catching promo. It's a good episode to be sure! But the Lego gimmick was a quick fix, rather than a long term solution.
As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG.
I may have a problem!
But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
