The Simpsons: 11 Most Paused Moments

7. No-nose Ned

Any cartoon series will inevitability have a few visual mistakes throughout the course of the show but in this case, the animation grabs your attention because there is just so much hilariously wrong with it. The goof occurs in the episode "The War of the Simpsons" where Homer and Marge throw a party for the locals and Ned is one of the first arrivals. He makes his very own 'Flanders Punch’ and then goes on to enthusiastically describe the recipe.

But amongst Ned’s passionate ramblings, there is one singular frame which stands out for all the wrong reasons as it displays a very odd-looking Flanders.

For starters, Ned’s nose is completely missing. And if you look at his neck, it is not connected to the rest of his body, making his entire head float. And through the gap where his index finger is connected to his thumb, you can only see the pink wallpaper and a little bit of Ned’s collar rather than what should be his neck. He looks bizarrely misshapen and it’s made funnier by Homer glaring at him with annoyance.
