22. Lenny Leonard
Now it's time to talk about the better half of Lenny and Carl. Lenny Leonard can easily be called the funnier out of the pair as his goofy voice is a delight, he's always got great lines, and the show has put the spotlight on him. He's certainly one of the more underrated characters in the show.
Like Carl, he's a worker at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and spends most of his time goofing around with Homer. But unlike Carl, he's not just a character for others to play off of, as he's constantly chiming in with silly lines and comedy moments thanks to how simple and goofy he is.
But, there's also a slightly deeper side to him as he's shown to be very passionate about people. In the episode "Double, Double, Boy In Trouble", he uses his £50,000 lottery winnings to throw an appreciation party for his friends. He's by no means a complex character, but moments like this, combined with his humour, make him stand out.
