The Walking Dead: 10 Outrageous Comic Moments That Won't Be Used

4. All Out War

All Out War is the biggest and most ambitious story attempted by The Walking Dead so far, and is pretty much as it sounds.

To combat the threat of Negan, built up over a number of comics by this point, the three non-villainous groups of survivors unite: Rick’s Alexandria team, Ezekiel’s Kingdom, and Monroe’s Hilltop. It was a bloody and brutal war, with many different battles fought and lots of twists, betrayals, and suspense as to who would win right until the very end.

The show has quite a way to go in order to pull this off. Three of the four major groups haven’t even been introduced yet, and there is no guarantee they all will be, while the scale of this would outstrip anything done on the TV show before. To head down this route would be going up another level, and a major game-changer, and it’s unclear how far they’d be willing to go with it.
