The Walking Dead: 12 Things We Want To See In Season 6
4. Repercussions For Rick
When Rick killed Pete, who was basically just Carol's husband reincarnated, it was a sign that the show needed to throw the cat amongst the pigeons and turn the dial up on Rick's relationship with Jessie. It's turned into a bit of a will they-won't they situation, which is becoming a little common for the show now. Sure, Rick could do with someone to watch Judith every now and then, and Jessie clearly fancies the pants off Rick, but he did just execute her husband, which may not have won him any brownie points.
Also, to throw a curveball in there, Morgan showed up just as Rick was executing Pete. Let's face it, it didn't look good. Rick has always admired Morgan, and vice versa. This changes the dynamic totally, and hopefully Season 6 will show their relationship develop more fully, whether that be a one of mistrust, or allegiance.
Either way Rick and Morgan - and Rick and Jessie - have the potential to be the best running storylines in the show next season, which should mean all three are safe for the time being. Most likely shock death next season will probably be Jessie, and we can't wait to see how Rick will respond to yet more misfortune.
