Maggie has all of her father’s heart and all the political judgement beneficial to being a trustworthy and thoughtful leader.

Instead of becoming a great fighter, Maggie has instead leaned into the ways of her father and her mentor Deanna Monroe, focusing on bringing people together with her words, rather than using her fists to make her way in the world.

She watched her father die; lost her sister only to be reunited with her too late; and saw her husband bludgeoned to death whilst pregnant with their child. All of this would have destroyed anyone else, but not Maggie. She took it in her stride, and allowed it to make her stronger.

Gone for a long while now, she's sure to be even more compelling in the show's final season.
