The Walking Dead: Every Season 5 Episode Ranked Worst To Best

Following their escape from Terminus in the season premiere, Strangers finds the Survivors on the road without a plan, but thankfully together for the first time since the middle of season four.

On their travels, they manage to find shelter at a church run by the cowardly and secretive priest Father Gabriel Stokes, who reluctantly helps the group on a supply run and is forced to confront his sins.

There are also some thrilling twists thrown in the episode, both of which appear as if from nowhere and shake up the entire tone of the show. First, Daryl and Carol find the car that kidnapped Beth; and, later, Bob is kidnapped by the surviving Terminus cannibals and has his leg eaten.

Strangers is dark twist upon dark twist, and thanks to Seth Gilliam's desperate, slippery performance, it also serves as perhaps the best new character introduction of the entire show.
