Everyone was too busy mourning the loss of a hero from the very beginning to really pay much attention to the fact that Rick's in a broken RV about to be swamped by hundreds of walkers with no obvious escape plan. You can fully expect Rick to haul himself out of the mess, but how? Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham are continuing their journey on Rick's orders, and the Alexandrians will be frantically picking up the pieces of their community, while Michonne and Heath are steadily making their way home.
