Tara's just not that interesting, is she? In a series already crammed full of huge personalities and exciting characters, there's no room for deadwood, and unfortunately Tara falls into that category. She attempts to offer some light comic relief in episodes, but that's not a good enough excuse to keep her alive. The Walking Dead likes to make characters relevant in order to make their deaths more of a punch to the viewers' hearts, so hopefully this means she'll serve a greater purpose in Season 6. Still, the creators shouldn't really place too much emphasis on disposing of her character.
