The Walking Dead Season 7: 3 Ups & 6 Downs From 'Swear'
4. The Heath Fakeout
Heath returns alongside Tara this week, although is mostly left out of the proceedings after his quick reintroduction. A solid supporting character, there's a good chance we'd have seen a bit more of Heath were it not for the fact the guy playing him, Corey Hawkins, is off to lead Fox's new 24 spin-off, 24: Legacy.
And maybe that's why he doesn't get too much screentime here, either. Though if the show is setting him up for an exit, it's an odd way to do it, since it very much suggests he could be alive. While at first it seemed like Heath abandoned Tara, we later learn he tried to save her, but was seemingly overcome by walkers before she fell off the bridge.
That's what we're supposed to think, and when we see a walker with the same hair as him on the bridge, it can surely only be Heath. Except, no, it's a female. Just one that looks a lot like Heath from behind, and isn't covered in sand - despite every other walker on the bridge appearing this way, and it being blocked off at both ends. By Walking Dead standards it's not that bad, but it's yet another cheap trick, and one that doesn't really make sense.
