The X-Files Revival: 10 Things We Learned From The Season Finale

10. Paranoid Mulder Doesn't Password Protect His Laptop

When most people even close their laptops, they have things set to go to a lock/login screen. Not so Fox Mulder. The man who once used TrustNo1 as a password can't even be bothered to put a password on his laptop, apparently - which is why both Agent Scully and Agent Miller were able to easily access his personal files. Of course, this was to further the plot - Miller uses Mulder's laptop, which has a cellphone tracking program, to locate his phone, and Mulder himself, after Fox has gone missing - but it's so far out of character for Fox Mulder, it lands squarely in the realm of complete disbelief. No, Mulder would have a password. A strong one. A long passphrase, and at least 256bit encryption.
