WandaVision Episode 8: 5 Biggest Talking Points
1. SWORD Have Rebuilt Vision
In the post-credits sequence of the most recent episode, viewers saw Simon Hayward unveil the key part of his master plan.
The original body of Vision was recovered by SWORD after the events of Avengers: Infinity War and kept at a secure facility. It seemed as though SWORD were being responsible, ensuring that no one else could get their hands on the most powerful sentient weapon in the universe.
However, the truth was revealed at the climax of last week's episode.
As Hayward told his team that they were ready for launch, the audience was granted a shot of Vision - rebuilt and ice white.
White Vision is a direct nod to the character in the Vision Quest comic book story arc of the 1980s. This version of Vision is emotionless and has no connection to Wanda or the outside world, which is likely what we can expect to see from the synthezoid in the WandaVision finale (and possibly the MCU going forward).
Whether SWORD have rebuilt Vision to use him as an antagonist against the heroes in Westview or just as another method of manipulation for Wanda herself, WandaVision viewers will find out in this week's dramatic finale.
