Westworld Season 2: 12 Stupid Blunders That Completely Ruined It
9. Not Enough Shogun World
One of the most exciting things about season two was the chance to explore new sections of the park, especially Shogun World. Unfortunately, we didn't get there until episode five and even then, we left all too quickly.
Shogun World felt so much more interesting than Westworld; we're all used to seeing Western iconography and this Japanese setting was far more unique and interesting. The scenes set in Shogun World were by far some of the best of the season, so the quick departure was somewhat baffling.
It's a safe bet that most would've preferred to spend more time here rather than witnessing Dolores riding around shooting everyone, Ed Harris playing another convoluted game or Bernard and his endless, endless flashbacks, or flash-forwards, or whatever the f**k they actually were.
It also would've been nice to see more of The Raj, first seen in episode three. To be honest, it generally would've been better to spend more time in the other Delos parks, since Westworld itself has become too familiar.
