10 Amazing UFC Fights You Must Watch In February
4. Mirsad Bektic Vs. Dan Ige - UFC 247
Despite only being 28-years old, it feels like UFC featherweight Mirsad Bektic is already a veteran of the game. The Bosnian-American has long been touted as a future champion, but his journey towards the title has had a couple of roadblocks along the way.
Two knockout losses to Darren Elkins and Josh Emmett have pushed him down the pecking order of the featherweight division, but the Tristar Gym fighter has hopes on bouncing back in a big way. He has all the skills to do so, possessing solid boxing, dynamic wrestling and devastating ground and pound. However, when fighting in a division that is as competitive as the 145lb weight class, he'll need to make sure he uses all those talents to the best of his abilities.
His first test following the knockout loss to Emmett back in July 2019 is against well-rounded Hawaiian, Dan Ige. The 28-year old made a name for himself on Dana White's Contender Series and has put on a series of strong performances following it, especially his win over Danny Henry.
A win for either fighter is extremely important as it will set the tone for the rest of the year, so expect an intense battle between them both.
